I want to become a naval corpsman for the marines and need some advice please.?

okay so im 16 right now and want to become a combat medic/corpsman for the marines, i already know that the marines get their medics from the navy. So i was wondering should i go straight out of high school into the navy or should i go to college first? if i go to college what should i study?
