What are some examples of African fossils in America ?

I heard that Nebraska has fossils of African animals (like gazelles, or lions maybe?) but yahoo search doesn't seem to show anything on it. Has anyone else heard of this ? I've also heard that there are petrified sea turtles there, which sounds awesome !
