My boyfriend and I always say we love each other and miss each other when we are away. Lastnight I asked him?

If he felt he was "in Love" with me and if he felt there was a difference of being "in love" or just loving someone. He said that it takes time to fall in love and we are just figuring things out right now but that he loves so much about me. (we just moved in with each other after a 2 and a half year long distance relationship of meeting every other month for a few weeks and letter writing and phone calling every day) I wonder if we were to be "in love" with each other, isn't 2 and a half years a long time to know or not? I am 33 now and don't want us to settle for each other if it is not going to amount to being "in love" maybe i have high expectations or impatience?
